RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Able to disassemble and repair equipment and components as needed.
• Identify and repair standard electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues on equipment.
• Possesses and is competent using all required tools.
• Performs routine maintenance on company trucks and equipment.
• Fluidize new equipment to correct volumes with brand, type, and grade as required per customer specification
• Set brake adjustment for new equipment
• Perform electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical duties and repairs as assigned by supervisor.
• Understands the basic functions of Frac pump, blender, and hydration unit and their components, in respect to well stimulation equipment.
• Able to assist field service technicians when needed.
• Works in a safe manner maintains a clean and organized work area within acceptable standards set by shop supervisors.
• Possesses skill set to work independently to complete tasks when required, and provide instruction and knowledge to Level 3 Service Technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Employee is expected to meet minimum tool requirements within 15 working days from work start date.
• Able to perform basic mathematical functions including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of previous experience with building and servicing hydraulic fracturing equipment preferred.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment when in designated areas.
• Stand, bend, sit, stoop, crawl, squat, kneel, lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and walk for 8-10 hours per day.
• Diesel Mechanics experience, Fracking Hand, and MUST have Hydraulic experience!
• Regularly required to hear and talk.
• Have the ability to see close up.
• Be able to withstand exposure to Production Environment.
• Be able to tolerate high noise levels with the protection of ear-plugs.
