A PCT 4 Constable Deputy arrested a man in a stolen vehicle, and then found out he had an outstanding warrant for Unauthorized Use Of Motor Vehicle.
According to reports from PCT 4, on February 17, 2019, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office conducted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle in the 18300 block of Hufsmith Kohrville Road.
The driver was detained and identified as Derrick Huey.
Further investigation revealed that he had an open warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle (UUMV), and theHarris County District Attorney's office accepted an additional UUMV charge.
"Derrick Huey was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and the previous open warrant. He received No Bond out of the 177th Disttict Court for the open UUMV warrant and a $1,500.00 bond for the additional UUMV." -Constable Mark Herman
