Shy Dogs Need Love Too
MCAS currently has a number of shy dogs who need some extra space and TLC to learn to trust.
For these kind of dogs, the shelter environment is overwhelming and for that reason we’d love to see them out to experienced foster homes or understanding adoptive homes.
Homes that understand these pups don’t want to rush into things, and also understand that a scared dog is a “flight risk” so extra precautions need to be taken.
The shelter’s foster coordinator can explain these needs and help guide you.
Will you open your home?
Reach out to her today and express your interest so that she can match you with the right pup.
These dogs tend to blossom away from the shelter, and it’s a beautiful process to be a part of.
Give a dog the gift of the chance that is so deserves this holiday season.
The gift of a loving home.
