Don't Be A Kit-napper
Our instinct is to help when we see wee ones left alone, but often times Mama is nearby hunting for some food, or possibly even hiding from you.
So if you stumble upon some kittens, unless they’re in immediate danger (dogs, raccoons, flooding property, extreme weather exposure etc) leave them be, assess the area, and keep an eye out for mom to return.
No one can care for them better than their mama, and she knows exactly how long they can go without her.
