Tomball's Weekly Water Conservation Tip

For this week’s water conservation tips, we’re heading back outside with more ways to conserve water around your yard.

Never use water to clean sidewalks, paths, or driveways. Use a broom instead.

Use mulch around plants and flower beds. Using mulch can reduce soil moisture loss through evaporation, and can reduce the amount of water needed by plants by as much as two-thirds.

When landscaping, plant native and drought resistant trees and plants.

Native and adaptive plants can thrive in the local climate, saving you time and water.

Thanks for helping conserve water, Tomball!

It takes all of us working together to help conserve water during a drought and every drop counts.
