Traffic Stop Results in Arrest for Drug Possession and Evading ArrestOn August 23, 2023, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Special Operations Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2300 block of Morewood Drive. Upon making contact, the driver fled on foot. After a quick foot pursuit, the driver was apprehended and identified as Jokaric Garrett. Further investigation revealed that that he was in possession 192 grams of pressed pills believed to be Methamphetamine and Fentanyl, along with 4.35 ounces of marijuana. "Jokaric Garrett was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Evading Arrest. His bond was set at $11,000.00 out of the 184th District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
