Deputy apprehends shoplifting suspect with multiple felony warrants

On August 26, 2023, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office was working an approved extra job at the Walmart located in the 155 block of E Louetta Crossing.
 
The loss prevention officer at the store detained a shoplifting suspect.
 
The deputy identified the suspect as Aqueelah Swett.
 
He was found to be in possession of under $100.00 worth of stolen merchandise.
 
Further investigation revealed he had an open warrant for Theft out of Harris County and four open felony warrants out of Shelby County Tennessee for Aggravated Child Abuse.
 
"Aqueelah Swett was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the warrants." - Constable Mark Herman
