On November 7, 2023, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 4700 block of FM 1960 Road East.

Upon arriving, one of the drivers involved displayed several signs of intoxication.

When deputies attempted to question the driver she became aggressive and assaulted the deputy.

Deputies were able to subdue her until she calmed down and identified her as Diana Gillespie.

Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was determined that she was intoxicated.

"Diana Gillespie was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault on a Police Officer and Driving While Intoxicated.

Her bond was set at $10,100.00 out of the 337th District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
